Now you’ve established the fundamentals of WHAT you want to say to your audience in your positioning statement, it’s time to create your digital marketing strategy:
HOW do you want to convey your message to your potential customers?
Although it is no secret that traditional marketing is on the decline and social media marketing is on the rise, it is more than just these elements that need to be considered that make up a digital marketing strategy.
A simple way to think about how you should develop your digital marketing strategy is to consider the 3C’s: Content, Channel and Customer.

These 3 elements should intertwine to deliver the right message at the right time and in the right place. Make sure all these elements allow you to facilitate conversations with your audience, rather than trying to blast a message at them in the hopes that 1 or 2 will respond.
And lastly, tie this back to your business goals and vision to maximise the benefits of your digital marketing strategy.
Now that you know how to create your digital marketing strategy, read about how you can select the right channels to promote your business in our third instalment of Marketing Monday! Tell us your thoughts in the comments below and in our Discussion Forum! Or ask us your questions!
